During my recent stay at Hoeve De Brieser, I was delighted by the warm welcome from the hosts and the tranquil surroundings that set the stage for a relaxing getaway. Our quadruple room was well-appointed with a functional kitchenette and cozy bunk beds for the kids. Paying for exclusive use of the spa area added a touch of luxury to our stay, although the lack of decaf coffee pods was a minor inconvenience.The location of the farmhouse was perfect for exploring the picturesque Borgloon and Tongeren area on foot or by bicycle, provided by the accommodating hosts. The renovated farmhouse exuded charm and offered all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The hospitable owners and their friendly dog made us feel right at home.While the additional charge for the indoor pool may deter some guests, the property's cleanliness and serene atmosphere more than make up for it. Fresh towels for longer stays would have been a thoughtful touch. Hoeve De Brieser strikes a good balance between value and luxury, making it a solid choice for those seeking a peaceful retreat in the Belgian countryside.
